At one point during high school I was walking to lunch, wearing my Under The Sign Of The Black Mark shirt. This fairly typically dressed girl walks up next to me and casually states, "I like that band". I assumed initially that she was making light of the fact the Bathory's logo is hard to decipher, that she was being ironic and had no idea about the band, etc, so I asked her about her favorite album. She responded, "The one with Baptized In Fire And Ice on it". I was pretty shocked. I said, yeah, Hammerheart, that's a great album, and a bit later the conversation unfortunately dissolved. I never got her name or saw her again, so I have a sneaking suspicion that she was just a figment of my imagination.
Another cool/funny incident happened while I was in McDonalds, a year or so ago. I was wearing my Warbringer shirt, and this well-dressed businesswoman, probably in her early/mid-thirties, walks up to me and asks me about the band on my shirt. It didn't seem like she thought they were weird, or scary, she was just curious about the band. She asked if they were a new or old band, what type of music they play, so I told her. She appeared to take in all the information, said "Cool, I just wanted to know", then she walked away.

MAN! Don't you see? Those chics were totally hitting on you man. I would have ended the conversations with "You wanna get something to drink and talk more about music?" Or something man. The women walked away because you didn't hit on them. THEY WANTED IT!
