The word stem "orama" or "arama" comes from a Greek word that means, "that which is seen", or "view" or "display". Common "real" words using this stem (in contrast to words especially coined as names) include "panorama", a large picture that includes a sweeping view of a large area (from "pan" meaning "all" or "everything"), and "diorama", a scene where you look through or past foreground figures to a painted background (from "dio" meaning "through" or "past").

Thus this coined word, "verbarama", is a puzzle that displays a number of verbs.

Sometimes a coined word is chosen because of its similarity to another word while not precisely looking at the meanings of the stems. Thus, I think "Cinerama" (the name of an early triple-wide-screen movie technique) was probably chosen to make you think of a movie (cine) version of a panorama. Note that all movie theaters view or display movies, so the rama part probably was there to remind people of the pan (wide, all-encompassing) aspect of a panorama.
