Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and flashback_99 Arena saw a crowd turnout of 2370. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Ken Evans slipped through the defense to come up alone against Emilio Insausti, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Juan García of Aviación received a yellow card in the 13th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Aviación took the lead in the 19th minute, after José Herrera's awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right. 1 - 0. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come in the 70th minute, following a one on one situation, but Emilio Insausti got the best of it, blocking the shot from Aníbal Rosado. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Aviación's lead to 4 - 2 as José Herrera finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. In the 75th minute, Aviación's José Herrera received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of candil, as Federico Gonzalvo left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. Santiago Porta took his place on the field. In the 81st minute of the match, Aviación's José Herrera demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to Tacuabé Keushkerian who chipped it in for 5-2. After this, Aviación lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. The home side's Tacuabé Keushkerian came close to extending the lead in the 84th minute.
