LONDON — Struggling processor maker Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.) has set up a website called "AMD Break Free" apparently with the purpose of giving the company's take on its battle with rival Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

The website is described in an advert as being to the place to "read for yourself the truth about Intel," and leads on the news that the the European Commission has charged Intel with anticompetitive practices.

The website, breakfree.amd.com is structured like a mini news site focused on antitrust enforcement, competition, public procurement and court news concerning the two processor makers.

In the old days if you had a message you wanted to get out you bought advertising. To draw attention in more recent times you wrote a press release and relied on somebody else to buy the advertising to sustain the independent media that might carry your message. Now, it seems, it is a good to idea to create a message-specific website to get your press release and message noticed - but then you have to advertise with Google to get people to visit your website.

Yo no me caso con nadie...

El que mas jugo le saque a mi plata, tiene mi compra asegurada, nada de procesiones atras de una marca y mientras digo esto, golpeo la billetera contra el mostrador y al grito de: QUÉ?!? mi plata no vale!!! mi plata no vale!!! conchietuermá!! (que aburrido q estoy en el laburo, no? =) )

Hasta ahora, nunca fui más feliz que con mi E6600. Tuve oportunidad de comprar otro micro hace unos días cuando compré discos en NewEgg y ni se me cruzó por la mente cambiarlo.

Anda muy bien el E6600 y si bien es caro, es todo lo que uno espera y mas. Yo lo tengo a 3GHz funcionando como un E6850, pero se me queda medio corto con la placa de video degeneradaque le pide mas y mas. Voy a tener que darle átomos...
